Cookie Policy

What is a cookie? A cookie is a small file containing numbers and letters, downloaded to your computer's hard drive and often used to identify details about your web usage, such as your location, network provider, operating system and browser choice. Less invasive cookies are required to assist the essential functionality of a website. Website owners must provide you with clear information about each cookie and its use. For more information about cookies, and how to disable cookies, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.

How does Frisk Online use cookies? Overall, cookies help us provide you with a better and more secure website, e-commerce services and an e-learning software package which relies on using session cookies (to remember users visits to our electronic study packs, and any scores generated as a result of completing a session for tracking purposes). A cookie in no way gives us access to your computer or device.

How can you control cookies? You can choose to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline cookies if you prefer. Modifying settings or shutting down background pages (such as your learning account), may prevent you from taking full advantage of our website, especially when you are using our electronic study packs.

List of cookies and "Device information" collected via Shopify site:

- “Cookies” are used to track shopping orders and remember items stored in a shopping basket.
- “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

Shopify use "Device Information" to screen for potential fraud risks and more generally to improve and optimise the Frisk Shopify Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Shopify Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns). Frisk Online do not use Google® Analytics and have opted out of any 'Shopify' collections of cookies, wherever possible.
